Safe Guarding Children Policies

At Chabad of Bondi (Lubavitch Russian Centre Inc.), the safety, wellbeing, and dignity of every child and young person is of utmost importance. As a shul and community centre, we take this sacred responsibility very seriously and are deeply committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment for every child in our care.

We strive to create a space where children can learn, pray, play, and connect - feeling valued, respected, and protected at every step.

Statement of Commitment to Child Safety
Chabad of Bondi is dedicated to safeguarding the well‑being, safety, and empowerment of every child and young person within our shul and communal spaces. We have a zero‑tolerance approach to any form of abuse or mistreatment, and we are committed to fostering a culture of safety that is embedded throughout our programs, events, and services.

Through strong leadership, staff and volunteer training, and clearly defined policies, we prioritise the protection of every child. We respect the voices of children, engage openly with families, and build strong relationships based on trust, respect, and inclusion.

All staff and volunteers working with children are thoroughly screened and trained, and we regularly review our practices and policies to align with the NSW Child Safe Standards.

At Chabad of Bondi, children are the heart of our community. We are honoured to nurture their growth and spirituality in a safe, supportive, and enriching environment, and we remain committed to ensuring that every child feels protected, cherished, and inspired to thrive within our shul and wider community.
